Information we collect

The calculator is a static, client-side tool. The values you enter (income, filing status, deductions) are processed locally in your browser to produce an estimate and are not sent to any server, logged, or stored by us.

Cookies and advertising

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. For visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, a Google-provided consent banner asks for your choices before any non-essential cookies are set, and Google Consent Mode applies those choices. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as page views and general location. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf; where consent is required, it is governed by the same consent banner described above. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless and does not track you across sites.

We do not use analytics to identify you personally. Because the calculator can encode your inputs into a shareable link, we remove the query string from the address reported to Vercel Web Analytics, so the figures you enter are never sent to it.

Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalized ads through the links above. Because we don’t collect the data you enter into the calculator, there is nothing for us to delete on that front.
